Podcast Ideas

I have used audio to:

• Provide instructions when a student is having problems reading
• To demonstrate the correct pronunciation of a word in a glossary
• Ask students to create an audio file of an interview
• Provide feedback on a student's work, so that a poor reader can understand the intent of what I wanted to say about their work
• Do experiments in Science on sound (e.g. Frequency and amplitude of sound, speed of sound).
  

Other ideas:

• A music performance (for students to listen to or for students to create for others to listen)
  
• Recording of key concepts available for students to revise
• Homework instructions available when they go home
• Ask students to create audio of key concepts. These key concept audio files may then be posted into a:
• wiki or
• forum or
• a glossary
• Students create an audio presentation or report, perhaps reviewing a topic/unit
• Provide an audio newsletter to parents.
